Cylindropuntia pallida, commonly known as the White-spined Hudson Pear or Hudson Pear, is an aggressive invasive cactus in South Africa. This densely branched succulent grows as a shrub up to 1.5 meters tall, distinguished by its pale green to grey-green cylindrical segments covered in numerous white to straw-coloured spines that have detachable barbed sheaths.
