Sandspruit Nature Trail

This project cleared and restored a 2km stretch along the Sandspruit River in the suburbs of Johannesburg, creating a welcoming path for walkers, bird-watchers, and cyclists to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

The gallery below shows the early days when the initial paths were first cleared. Now they are litter free, most of the alien invasive plants are gone and a forest of new trees has been planted. Photos updates will come soon...
