Chocolate Pudding (MasterChef)

Self-saucing Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients
Cake

  • 2 cups self-raising Flour

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • ½ cup Cocoa

  • 250ml Milk

  • 120ml Butter, melted

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

  • 2 Eggs


Sauce

  • ½ cup Sugar

  • 3 tbsp Cocoa

  • 2 cups boiling Water

Method
  1. Mix together flour, sugar and cocoa

  2. In a separate bowl, mix loosely milk, melted butter, vanilla and eggs

  3. Mix wet ingredients loosley into dry ingredients; don't worry about lumps

  4. Pour into pan (enamel pan cooks quickly)

  5. Sprinkle over the cocoa and sugar from the sauce ingredients, then pour over the boiling water

  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 160°C

  7. Serve hot with ice-cream
