Crispy Fried Fish with Chilli Dipping Sauce

Note! Before you start, first prepare the Chilli Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
  • Any meaty fish cut into strips (Whiting, Kingklip etc)


Batter

  • 1 bottle cold Lager

  • ½ bottle iced Water

  • Pinch of Salt

  • ½ tsp Baking Powder

  • Self-raising Flour

Method
  1. Whisk together lager, water, salt & baking powder

  2. Gradually whisk in flour until the consistency of crepe batter

  3. Coat fish with mixture

  4. Deep fry at about 180°C
